Christmas stockings have got to be one of my favorite things to look for when stores start stocking their shelves with their new holiday décor. Ever since Colin and I moved into our home (and before even), I imagined dressing up our fireplace mantel with personalized Christmas stockings that could be enjoyed year after year. When our son was born, I became even more adamant about trying to find “the perfect stocking,” that could be fancily embroidered with our names. I searched Etsy, Amazon, local retailers, etc. but I truly struggled to commit because embroidered Christmas stockings can be SO EXPENSIVE. I mean, I was looking at $30-$40 each! HELLO! Also, I couldn’t quite find “the look” that I was wanting either, which halted me from reaching for my wallet.
